plot: it's spring break here in malibu! seniors in high school who've graduated who want to do one big trip before embarking on the roller coaster that is college, university students who need a break from the workload, families on vacation, everyone flocks to malibu during this time of year. the blanc hotel gets an unsual amount of guests staying at the hotel during this time of year, and this year is no different. this year is one of the biggest hauls the hotel's seen in years, and that's saying something. for a five star hotel, the blanc gets a lot of traffic annually.

the blanc hotel is a hotel rpg loosely based off of the tipton hotel from the suite life of zack and cody. naturally, this takes place in a different city and only the general idea of the blanc hotel is based off of the tipton hotel.

the plot is based around a hotel, but this specific roleplay is located in the bar/pub/cafe room.

setting: the plot kinda explains the setting already. so let's talk about the group ideas we have.

• hotel staff: the hotel staff ranges from the managers of the hotel, conseirges, waitresses that work in the bars, cleaning services, the possibilities are endless. basically, all of these people make sure the hotel runs smoothly and nothing goes amiss. most of the staff lives in the hotel, and shiflts always vary depending on the jobs. to work at the hotel, your character must be 21 or older.
  
  
• hotel guests: the people staying at the hotel. naturally this is where the money comes in. five star hotel, naturally cannot be cheap, but somehow people are managing if they are spending weeks here. probably through travel sites, and the blanc hotel offering discounts because of the economy, you know. guests must be 18 or older. younger hotel guests are only allowed if an adult is requestiong them for family plot purposes, but no character can be younger than thirteen. (it's not allowed to play a child under 13 and use pictures of them. it's a new law.)
  
  
• malibu natives: obviously malibu is a bustling city with hundreds of people walking around daily. these are the folks who run the shops around the city and work daily to make their earning and are just like the hotel guests and staff. the pub/bar/cafe is open for the natives as well. it's a nice place to share stories with each other.

character(s): so let's talk about the characters, shall we. you can make up to three characters for this roleplay. i think that's the limit of what you can handle, since we only have this tread for the whole roleplay. please keep the ratio of females & males evenly. if you see that there are a lot of females, please consider making a male. to help you set up your character, please fill in this form! you don't have to write 6578 lines to describe your character, you're free to use single words for them, as long as we get a good image of him/her.

the application is quick and fast. you just have to fill in him or her's full nam, a picture of him/her, age, the group he/she's in (hotel staff, hotel guests or malibu natives), their hometown (if malibu natives, it has to be malibu of course) and playby (which person you took for the looks of your character, the one in the picture.) Then you have to fill in some good & bad traits of your character. remember, no one is perfect! please be realistic. if someone used, let's say Daniel Radcliffe, as their playby you can't use him as yours. we don't want twins, so please don't. ^^;

just post your aplication and i'll contact you over pm if it's filled in correctly and accepted or if you'll have to make a little change. when your character is accepted you can start roleplaying! everyone is free to enter this at any time! also, if you want to plot a little with other persons, for example: you'd like to have your character, join a table with two other characters, but you aren't sure if that'd be okay. just post in OOC, which means "out of character". you can just post it at the end of your post, or the beginning. whatever you prefer. just post OOC: blablabla, so we'll know that it's out of character!
